Established in 2016 in memory of Sherrill "Sherry" Grace Thompson. This scholarship is provided to students enrolled in any curriculum program. Other qualifications include a 2.0 GPA, demonstrate a need by completing the FAFSA, be a resident of Madison or Buncombe counties. Sherry Thompson was a recruiter at Randolph Community College and a career counselor at Haywood Community College and later became the Director of Career Counseling at A-B Tech.
The scholarship application process for Foundation scholarships begins January – April.
