Culinary Student Henry Sink worked with Chris Moore, Executive Chef of the Stable Café, to win first place at the Cajun Cook Off presented by Asheville Mardi Gras. Henry started with Biltmore as a Culinary Extern and was hired following completion of his internship at Stable Café.

A-B Tech’s student culinary team members received their trophy for winning the American Culinary Federation’s 2019 Southeast Regional competition. The team won in January, but regional trophies were presented in Atlantic City tonight following the Northeast competition.
The Marcus King Band, including A-B Tech alum Dean Mitchell, performed Friday, February 15, on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. A-B Tech instructor Jason DeCristofaro has taught Dean as a private music student and says he plays tenor saxophone and pedal steel guitar.
