This month’s RISE Spotlight belongs to the College campus for the hundreds of items donated on Professional Development Day for the food pantry. Items included breakfast items, snacks, canned goods, school supplies, pet food, and personal hygiene items.
The large Southern Magnolia tree on campus in front of the Brumit Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality has been designated at a Treasured Tree by a program through Asheville GreenWorks. The plaque placed on the tree used a special screw with a spring to grow with the tree.
