Starting Strong: How Taking the Leap Supports New Entrepreneurs
Jordan Stordahl, Business Launch Specialist with the NC Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), joined No Limits to discuss the upcoming Taking the Leap program at A-B Tech.
Taking the Leap is a four-week program designed for aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners who want to turn an idea into a viable business. Participants receive guidance on business planning, customer discovery, financial projections, marketing strategies, and other key startup fundamentals.
Jordan emphasized that the program is ideal for individuals at any stage of the entrepreneurial journey, whether they have a fully developed concept or are just beginning to explore a business idea. Beyond the educational content, participants benefit from networking opportunities, mentorship, and feedback from experienced business advisors and fellow entrepreneurs.
The upcoming cohort will meet on September 3, 10, 17, and 24 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at A-B Tech Enka. By the end of the program, participants will have greater clarity, confidence, and a roadmap for moving their business forward.
Jordan's advice to prospective entrepreneurs was straightforward: don't wait for the perfect time to start. Take action, seek guidance, and leverage the resources available to help you succeed.
