The Above and Beyond Award was given to the A-B Tech Police Department by the State Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. Police Lieutenant Joshua Edwards attended the ceremony and gave a brief presentation on March 23 in Greensboro.
A-B Tech Foundation Scholarship recipients were honored at a luncheon on March 14 in the Magnolia Dining Room. Recipients were seated with donors and were able to talk about how A-B Tech has impacted their lives and how appreciative they were of the scholarships.
The annual Biology Department plant sale raised more than $6,000, and about 2,000 plants were sold from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 26. The sale provides scholarships to help students so that they can focus more on academic success and less on financial burden.
