New Programs at A-B Tech Madison!

Continuing Education Offerings - details listed on Continuing Ed Schedule webpage

  • Plumbing Foundations (for essential knowledge and practical skills in plumbing)
  • Plumbing Inspection - offered for Level II and Level III (designed to prepare plumbing professionals to sit for certification exams)

Curriculum Offerings (requires a formal College application to be completed)

  • Electrical Wiring Certificate (C35103L1) - teaches the student the concepts and skills needed to install and repair residential, commercial, and industrial wiring systems. Preparation for state and local licenses is achieved through laboratory and classroom studies that focus on the National Electrical Code.
  • Four classes total: Fall - ELC 111 and ELC 113, Spring - ELC 115 and ELC 118.

Wi-Fi Internet Access Hot Spots in Madison County

  • A-B Tech Madison - parking lot area, especially parking spots along the front of the building
  • Mars Hill University - signs are posted in areas allowing community access, with directions for access
  • Madison County Libraries - parking lots at all Madison County library locations
