A-B Tech students are now eligible for childcare assistance if they are enrolled in academic degree programs! Curriculum students may be reimbursed for childcare costs up to $25 per week or $500 per month per child.

A-B Tech also has a partnership with the childcare center at the YWCA located on South French Broad Avenue in Asheville. The YWCA will accept children from 2 1/2 years old through the age of 10 years old. The only requirement is students participate in at least six credit hours. Students enrolled in a continuing education course, workforce development course, or transitional studies program must provide proof of participation.
