The associate degree program has three options for entry:
- Associate Degree Traditional option: Students are admitted in either the fall or spring and complete the traditional five-semester track.
- Associate Degree Advanced Placement option: This option allows qualified LPN candidates to join the ADN students in the second spring semester. Students complete the program in three semesters.
- Associate Degree RIBN option: The R.I.B.N. option is an A.A.S. Dual Enrollment Program offered in collaboration with Western Carolina University. Students are accepted and take courses at both A-B Tech and WCU during enrollment in the RIBN option. The student finishes the traditional track with A-B Tech in five semesters and finishes the program by joining the RN-BSN cohort at WCU after graduation from A-B Tech.
The practical nursing program only has one option for entry.
