Audiovisual Recording
Audiovisual recordings/photographs may be obtained while in a Nursing program for the purpose of education. Experiences in the high-fidelity simulation rooms and online virtual lectures may be recorded. Recordings are for educational purposes and are the property of the college. All video recordings will be deleted at the point of student graduation. No video recordings will be released to students or to any outside agencies.
Students are expected to protect information pertaining to the actions of peers and will utilize audiovisual recording for learning purposes only. Students agree to report any violations to the nursing faculty. Any publication outside of the classroom is unacceptable and unethical and may result in dismissal from the nursing program.
Photography, videotaping, and/or audio recording are not allowed in the class or lab without faculty permission. During class, the student may audio record lectures only with the instructor’s consent. Video recording of class or lab is prohibited.
