As we celebrate our 10th year of service to Western North Carolina's strong community of entrepreneurs, we're doing so in style!
Our 10th Anniversary Gala will feature live music, an elegant plated dinner, cocktail hour, an awards presentation for some of the wonderful small business owners we've had the pleasure of working with, networking opportunities, a cake cutting, and so much more.
Doors will open at 5 p.m., with festivities getting underway at 5:30. You don't want to miss it!
Western Women's Business Conference
For 10 years, the A-B Tech Small Business Center has partnered with the Western Women's Business Center, Small Business Administration, and the Small Business and Technology Development Center to bring together women entrepreneurs, business experts, nationally renowned speakers, and artists, for an energetic day of inspiration, learning, and networking. North Carolina Military Business Center
The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) is a statewide business development and technology transition entity of the North Carolina Community College System, headquartered at Fayetteville Technical Community College.
The mission of the NCMBC is to leverage military and other federal business opportunities to expand the economy, grow jobs, and improve the quality of life in North Carolina.
The NCMBC’s primary goal is to increase federal revenues for businesses in North Carolina. Since opening in 2005, the NCMBC has assisted businesses in North Carolina in winning at least 4,711 contracts, with a minimum value of $17.18 billion.
Exporting out of North Carolina
Over 95% of the world’s population and 80% of the world’s buying power lies outside the United States. That means if you want to take your business to the next level, then exporting needs to be a key part of your plan. The Small Business Center works with state and federal agencies to help our NC companies enter, and succeed, in the global marketplace. Export University is one of several programs offered each year to help entrepreneurs learn more about growing their businesses.

The North Carolina District Export Council is one of more than 60 District Export Councils, or DECs, throughout the United States. DECs are organizations of leaders from local business communities, appointed by successive Secretaries of Commerce since 1973, whose knowledge of international business provides a source of advice for local firms.
