  2. When you arrive at Wconline, you will be prompted to log in. If you are on a personal device, you may check the “stay logged in” box, which will save your log-in information and take you directly to the calendar during future sessions. You should not use this feature if you are working on a shared device, such as a public computer.

  3. Once you log in, you will be taken to the Writing Center’s default calendar, which will be for on-campus and video chat tutoring. If you would prefer to view the “Online Tutoring” calendar for online submissions, you may do so by checking the appropriate calendar prior to logging in or by selecting from the “Schedules” dropdown menu at the top of the calendar after logging in.

  4. Beneath the calendar heading, you will see a pane labeled “Display Options.” There, you can limit the calendar to only display appointments with a certain tutor or of a particular meeting type (i.e. on campus or video chat appointments), depending on your preferences.

  5. Once you have entered your display options, if you choose to use them, you can schedule an appointment by clicking on any of the available white blocks. Blocks appearing in other colors have either been booked by other students or are otherwise unavailable. You may schedule an appointment up to two weeks in advance. If you would like a standing appointment at the same time each week, please call or visit the Writing Center to receive assistance from an administrator.

  6. Once you click on an open appointment, a short form will pop up in a new window. Please fill out the required information. If you are not visiting the Writing Center to work on materials for a class, you may enter “N/A” for course and instructor. You may also attach files at the bottom of your appointment form, such as a draft or assignment prompt, if needed.

  7. Once the form is complete, you may select “Create Appointment.” You will see a confirmation on the page, and your appointment will appear in yellow on the calendar. You will also receive a confirmation email, if you have set up your account to do so. Please check that you have scheduled an appointment in your desired format (i.e. on campus or video chat) via your appointment confirmation. Appointments can be modified or canceled through the calendar or by calling the Writing Center at (828) 398-7218.
