The College Advancement Department at A-B Tech offers three very special events each year. Each event supports students and programs at A-B Tech and offers varied and exciting opportunities for supporters to witness their contributions’ impact on the A-B Tech community. Supporting these events means that A-B tech can grow and provide further opportunities for our students and the Asheville Area communities.
Autumn in Asheville
The event highlights the amazing skills of our award-winning A-B Tech Culinary Arts and Hospitality students and faculty through a variety of interactive food stations located throughout the Brumit Center for Culinary Arts and Hospitality’s facility.
Proceeds support the success of the College’s students through the work of the Foundation and the Culinary Arts and Hospitality Department. For more information on how to become involved in this year’s event please visit Autumn in Asheville 2023.
Golf Tournament
The annual K. Ray Bailey/A-B Tech Foundation Invitational Golf Classic is held each June. The proceeds from this tournament benefit student support programs of the A-B Tech Foundation, including the K. Ray Bailey/A-B Tech Foundation Golf Classic Scholarship program. Through this fund, we can distribute over 30 tournament scholarships annually, providing vital educational and professional opportunities that may have otherwise been out of reach for our students.

Scholarship Luncheons
College Advancement hosts two scholarship luncheons annually. These two invitation-only events bring together supporters and recipients of scholarships. Supporters and scholarship recipients are encouraged to get to know one another and share their love for A-B Tech. Thank you to this year’s scholarship luncheon sponsor, Advent Health.
