You must have your EMT Certification
to be eligible to begin in January

Students must enroll in both sections to be successfully enrolled in a course.

These items should be purchased prior to the start of class. All items are available at the A-B Tech Woodfin

Registration Fee

  • $180.00 registration fee for Didactic and Clinicals ($360) for non-exempt personnel plus
  • $229.00 supply fee for non-exempt and exempt personnel (platinum planner and materials)

 

Other Costs Associated With Class

  • $400 (Approximate Cost) Uniform Shirt (class B x2 and Polo) and EMS Tactical Pants, Boots, ANSI certified safety vest, Shears, Stethoscope, goggles or safety glasses, belt, nameplate, etc…..
  • Background check

Pre-Registration Required

  • Completion of College-level English and Math or successful Gold Level ACT Work Keys can be substituted for Math. (ACT work keys must be completed at required testing level before course registration)

  • Biology 163 or an Approved Biology Substitute is a required corequisite

  • Mandatory attendance is required on the first day of class for orientation

  • Current, valid Driver’s License
  • Current NC EMT-B certification
  • Criminal background checks will be required prior to admission to clinical sites
