The CCP College Transfer Pathway is a part of the Associate of Arts in Teacher Preparation Degree and is designed for high school juniors and seniors who wish to take courses toward a baccalaureate degree in Education in a non-STEM subject area. Students may earn up to 48 credit hours towards a 60 credit hour Associate of Arts In Teacher Preparation Degree.
The mission of the A-B Tech Early Childhood Education Department is to provide the knowledge base and skills necessary for our students to inspire nurture and empower young children, and their families through progressive teaching, bold innovation, and supportive collaboration, therefore providing the best educational experience possible. When the entire degree is successfully completed it transfers to all UNC system schools and many private colleges in North Carolina to fulfill all General Education requirements, leading to Junior level status at the college or university.
