Holiday Celebrations on Campus
January 6th 2020 A-B Tech had a few on-campus celebrations in December to commemorate the upcoming holidays, including the annual employee holiday lunch, the 44th annual Children's Holiday party, and an International Holiday Open House.
Sparks Honored with Vanguard Award
January 6th 2020 Jill Sparks, Executive Director of A-B Tech’s Small Business Center and Incubation Program, was given the Vanguard Award by Venture Asheville. In her position, Sparks has a direct impact on helping small business owners and entrepreneurs throughout Western NC.
Proposed Parking Changes at Birch and Haynes
January 6th 2020 The pictured map is of proposed changes in parking designations at Birch and Haynes. Due to the start of the barbering program, the plan is to change the smaller designated lot to the north of Birch (cosmetology wing) from employee parking (with yellow stripes) to barber client parking (with green stripes).

December 3rd 2019 The Sustainability Committee has been working with the Biology Department and Treasured Trees to establish tree awards on campus. The Magnolia in front of Fernihurst has already been designated as a Treasured Tree, and the next award will be given to the Beech Tree.
