Student Culinary Team Scores a Silver Medal and Best Appetizer
August 6th 2021 A-B Tech’s Student Culinary Team earned a Silver Medal at the American Culinary Federation National Finals on Aug. 5. This was the 12th trip to the nationals for an A-B Tech team, which is the most of any culinary school in the United States.
A-B Tech Community College Announces Vaccine Incentive Program for Students

July 27th 2021 State Competition North Carolina Phi Beta Lambda held its State Leadership Conference online, with A-B Tech winning several awards. Students David Peck and Bethany Duke qualified for Nationals, which will be held at the end of June.
Nurse Aide graduates at A-B Tech have high exam pass rates
July 21st 2021 A-B Tech’s Nurse Aide course had a 98 percent pass rate on the state exam in the past month, with these students earning the Nurse Aide certification. The course has graduated 227 students from June 2020 to July 2021, a part of the Health Occupation program.
