A-B Tech Students Honored at NCCIA Conference
March 12, 2019 Four A-B Tech students were honored with scholarships at the NCCIA conference held on March 6-8 at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Eight scholarships are given statewide for students majoring in an IT field.

March 11, 2019 The Emergency Services Academy celebrated the graduation of 18 students from the Detention Officer Certification Course (DOCC) on March 11 at A-B Tech Woodfin. The class had officers from Buncombe, Polk, Madison, Jackson, and Yancey counties.
Benedict College President Speaks at A-B Tech

Capital Improvements at A-B Tech Madison
March 7, 2019 A-B Tech Madison has a new floor in the Ramsey Building, along with some other improvements for the 29-year-old facility. They also received a new HVAC system, new gutters, and drainage improvements as part of the NC Connect Bond project.
STEM Friday on March 15, 2019
March 6, 2019 Presented by the A-B Tech STEM Departments, the latest STEM Friday will be at noon, March 15, 2019, in Ferguson Auditorium. Dr. Allen Moore, Biology Instructor, will present “Tree Diversity of a One Hectare Plot of Lowland Peruvian Rainforest,” as a discussion of his research in the Amazon.
Radio Museum Available for Class Tours
March 6, 2019 Faculty and staff may schedule tours of the Asheville Radio Museum located in Elm 315 outside of the normal schedule of 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Fridays. Instructors are encouraged to bring their classes.
