October 7th 2020 PD Day is October 20th. The focus of this year's PD Day will be on remote learning for faculty and staff. College employees currently have access to over 5,752 professional development offerings:
Ferguson Endowed Nursing Chair Established at A-B Tech
October 6th 2020 A-B Tech and College Advancement created the Jack and Carolyn Ferguson Endowed Nursing Chair, which is the college’s first ever endowed chair.
Food Truck on Thursdays
October 6th 2020 A-B Tech currently has a regular food truck, Appalachian Chic, which is in the Allied Health and Workforce Development Building parking lot each Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Health Clinic and Flu Shots for Employees
October 6th 2020 The Health Clinic on campus provides examinations by a licensed physician assistant/nurse practitioner each Wednesday from 1 to 5 p.m. during the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session.

College Donates to MANNA Food Bank
September 8th 2020 A-B Tech had made two significant donations to MANNA food bank since the pandemic started. The most recent was for 94 pounds of food from the college’s pantry over the summer.
