September 25th 2019 Dental Hygiene students had a 100 percent pass rate on their written National Boards and their clinical boards. One of the online national board exams is about 500 questions covering all topics in dental hygiene, including micro biology.

Childhood Education Conference Draws Attendees to A-B Tech
September 2nd 2019 The Good Things for Young Children Summer Institute held a two-day workshop at A-B Tech. There were 54 educators from the region including teachers from Asheville City and Buncombe County Schools. The participants were teachers and teacher assistants of pre-k, and K classrooms.

June 21st 2019 A-B Tech offers a variety of classes at correctional facilities in Buncombe and Madison counties to prepare residents for re-entry. Students can start with the basics in Transitional Studies to earn their High School Equivalency or take specific classes to start them in a new career.
College Advancement Receives Donation from Bank of America
June 14th 2019 The Bank of America Merrill Lynch Asheville Market presented a $7,500 check to the A-B Tech Foundation for the Lavender Fund Scholarship, a highly successful, year-long scholarship and support program for single parents attending the college.
Woodfin Receives New Ambulance
June 14th 2019 A new ambulance was delivered to the EMS program at A-B Tech Woodfin to teach EMS driving technique. “Driving an ambulance is not all about going fast, it’s more important to deliver a smooth ride for the patient and the people standing up in the back, treating the patient,” said Clint Gorm
