Comments:
The courses that the students take here at Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College Emergency Medical Science Department allow the student to take the following credentialing exams, North Carolina Office of Emergency Services (NCOEMS) credentialing exam and the National Registry Of Emergency Medical Technicians(NREMT) credentialing exam. All the states above require either for initial certification or for reciprocity the NREMT Credential at the Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, or Paramedic level credentials. This is supported through the information on the NREMT website.
