May 16th 2022 Six employees were selected for annual honors during A-B Tech’s employee spring picnic on May 12. They were nominated by peers and students earlier in the year. Final selections were made by the college’s Faculty and Staff associations.

A-B Tech Community College Produces $405.8 Million Annual Economic Impact in WNC
April 7th 2022 A new, in-depth economic impact analysis conducted in FY2019-20 found that A-B Tech Community College had a $405.8 million annual impact on the regional economy, supporting more than 7402 jobs, or one out of every 41 jobs, in the Western Gateway region.
Max Queen, A-B Tech Trustee and Former VP of Administrative Services, Succumbs to Cancer
April 1st 2022 A-B Tech lost one of our own this week when Max Queen – an A-B Tech Trustee, retiree, graduate, and longtime friend of the college – passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 29 after battling pancreatic cancer.
