This education component is one of several requirements to become a Certified Home Inspector in North Carolina. Requirements vary significantly by state. Compared to other states, North Carolina requirements are unusual in that they include NC’s own exam through the NC Home Inspector Licensure Board (HILB) instead of a national exam. Check with your state of operation to determine additional requirements.
